Berlin Community Radio, which has been on the air for about a year and has hosted dozens of musicians, labels and other artists, is looking for some bread to stay afloat. The goal is €2,000 (about $2,500) and the campaign ends on Jan. 15.
At this point, the only sets that come out better than those on BCR are those on Beats In Space and the Boiler Room. BCR is essential listening.
Donation perks on BCR’s Indiegogo page range from exclusive downloads of themed mixes to merchandise such as USB, vinyl and shirts to personalized autonomous sensory meridian response soundscapes and more.

BCR is looking to cover costs that range from studio space and the heat to endure the chilly Teutonic winters to the increasing cost of licensing the music they play.
“Berlin Community Radio has been on air for just over a year and has almost 70 contributors including internationally known musicians, labels and interdisciplinary artists as well as relevant institutions and local heroes who create original and amazing shows that have been listened to over 1 million times all over the world,” BCR says on its Indiegogo page. “BCR is brought to you by two women, Anastazja and Sarah, and an amazing team of volunteers who all work for free, but without your help won’t be able to continue.”
