I don’t know much about new synthpop duo Finesse, so this is going to be an uncharacteristically short Vehlinggo post. (All I know is that the duo is singer Patrick Donohue, the same pipes for Minneapolis minimal synthpop group CLAPS, and a musician named Jeff Cornell).
Just listen and love this cut. It’s got some nice contemporary St. Lucia vibes mixed in with OMD, Simple Minds, and even a little Depeche Mode. Sweet, catchy, and with a lot of finesse.
