The Midnight – “The Comeback Kid (Isolation Relief Mix)”
Tyler Lyle and Tim McEwan have remixed their popular song from 2016’s Endless Summer into a deeply beautiful, organic slow-burner in order to raise funds for their out-of-work touring staff. Buy it ASAP.

Future Museums – Transitional Spirit Mirror EP
Holodeck Records is often known for its dark synth and ambient acts, but Future Museums is among a few on the label’s roster who craft stunning kosmische that blends the likes of Ashra, Michael Rother, and Klaus Schulze with modern sensibilities.
The Weeknd – “Blinding Lights (Chromatics Remix)”
Chromatics have taken the synthwavey number and turned it into a sexy, late-night romp, laced with the gorgeous cinematic apprehension at which Johnny Jewel excels. The lights don’t blind so much as mesmerize on this remix. (Bonus points for the added vocals from Ruth Radelet.)
Magdalena Bay – A Little Rhythm and a Wicked Feeling
Transcendentally catchy pop, the latest gem from Gorilla Vs. Bear’s Luminelle label. Highlight tracks including “Story” and “Oh Hell.”
Pleasure Curses – “Sugar Coated”
The Portland-based Vehlinggo faves are back with a serrated and sludgy synth-pop gem.
ClassixX – “One More Song (Feat. Roosevelt)
Two nu-disco master acts get together and cast delectably propulsive spells.
