The latest episode of The Vehlinggo Podcast went live yesterday. It has a lot going on, but here are the two primary components: (1) I report from the floor of MondoCon, featuring a segment from a MONDO/Death Waltz soundtrack panel and interviews with some people, including Giallo Disco/Burning Witches artist Mr. Eff; and (2) I reveal the 17 artists who’ve contributed new or previously unreleased songs to the upcoming Vehlinggo Presents: 5 Years compilation.
In addition to the aforementioned, the podcast also features some music by Bat For Lashes, Mr. Eff, Alone in the Woods, Timothy Fife, and Parallels & Futurecop!.

The compilation, which releases in November, celebrates the 5th anniversary of Vehlinggoland. (The first Vehlinggo post published on Nov. 19, 2014.)

(As an aside, you should read this in-depth piece I did earlier this year about scoring podcasts. I interviewed folks like Adam Dorn (composer for Serial) and Makeup and Vanity Set (Up and Vanished, Atlanta Monster, etc.).
