In a round of news coming from Italians Do It Better today, Johnny Jewel released “Yes,” a new Chromatics single from the soundtrack to Ryan Gosling’s forthcoming directorial debut Lost River (the soundtrack is itself coming out on March 30 with the film to follow in April).
The iTunes and Spotify releases have two additional versions of the tune, including a Symmetry remix of the song and a “lullaby” version.
You can also hear “Yes” in the Lost River trailer released today.
A highlight of the cut is that it features a trifecta of IDIB vocalists Megan Louise (Desire), Ida No (Glass Candy), and Ruth Radelet (Chromatics). Another notable fact about it is that it’s dark, beautiful, and awesome.
