Normally, I don’t think about Air France. Now, I’ve got nothing against the airline. I just haven’t been to France since the Eiffel Tower still had that countdown clock to the year 2000, and haven’t had the opportunity to return.

However, I get really excited every time Air France’s new ad campaign comes on TV. Why’s this? Well, the soundtrack is a special version of Glass Candy’s “Warm in the Winter,” one of my favorite songs of all time. The second I heard that familiar synthesizer arpeggio and Ida No’s impeccable vocals, I stood at attention. Check it out.

Since May, No and producer/mastermind Johnny Jewel worked closely with Air France on the campaign. The film was shot and edited to match the song’s lyrics, according to Alexis Rivera of Echo Park Records, which manages the Italians Do It Better crew.

On that note, the ad itself is beautiful and artful, and fits the music really well. The whole package is a good time.
