Someone was kind enough to post to SoundCloud the awesome back-to-back DJ set that Mike Simonetti (Pale Blue, 2MR) and Jamie xx (The xx) did at Bossa Nova in Brooklyn earlier this month. (I mentioned it in my interview with Simonetti, but couldn’t find a link to it at the time.)
You might want to check it out as soon as possible, because these kinds of things have a rather ephemeral quality on the irascible social network.
I’d also recommend you listen to Pale Blue’s new album, The Past We Leave Behind, and pre-order Jamie xx’s forthcoming album, In Colour. Both releases are mind-altering masterpieces in their own ways.
