New Vehlinggo Podcast Episode Features a Big Pilotpriest Interview

Today’s podcast episode was a delight to create. I interviewed Toronto-based Pilotpriest, a beloved synth composer whose Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is a popular release on Waxwork Records. He’s also a filmmaker known as director Anthony Scott Burns, and we talk about the experience of making what would have been his debut feature film — that ended up in a bit of a creative tug that resulted in him and score composers Electric Youth leaving the production. (We ended up getting Breathing out of it, so it worked out all right.) They’re back together for a new film with much more creative control this time.

We also talk about a lot more than that — the creative process, what music means to Burns, what he’s got planned for the future. And then there are some revelations you’ll just have to hear for yourself.
