It’s lucky number 13 over here at Vehlinggo, with the release of a great new Vehlinggo Mix from Forgotten Illusions, a founding member of the storied Nantes, France-based Valerie Collective.
The set features Italo acts, a notable synthwave group, and some Valerie Collective action. The whole playlist is on the mix’s Mixcloud page.
For those who don’t know, in addition to his solo project, Forgotten Illusions (AKA Pierre de la Touche) is one-half of The Outrunners (also a Valerie act) and one-half of Digital Romance (Bordello a Parigi). For the former project he’s joined by Stephen Falken and for the latter, singer Marie de Berlin.
(Attentive fans might have noticed some of The Outrunners’ tunes in that documentary about the family who remade Raiders of the Lost Ark.)
